November 2007. Walkover Survey.
Rapid Earthwork Identification Survey (Coupe 33160).
A circular bank measuring about 2m wide, 0.2m high, and 110m in diameter was identified at this location. It is the boundary of a former tree plantation depicted on the first edition Ordnance Survey map (S2) and likely dates to the 18th or 19th century. Sections of the bank have been lost.
See report (S3) for further details.
H. Hamilton (NLA), 01 April 2008.

December 2018. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A large circular earthwork bank, of a probable post medieval date, is seen on visualised lidar data (S4). The bank most likely relates to a tree ring and has not been mapped as part of this survey, as the earthwork has been recorded in good detail on the Tithe map, First and Second edition Ordnance Survey maps (S5-S7).
