Summary

School with attached teacher's house, structurally one building, built in 1875. The house is high quality building of two storeys, red brick with black brick diaperwork in Tudor style, sawtooth cornices; central ridge stack and stack rising from slope of east gable. School itself, originally of similar style, is much altered. Historically significant as this is the school house from which the headmaster was evicted thus provoking the Burston School Strike of 1914.

House is high quality building of two storeys, red brick with black brick diaperwork in Tudor style, sawtooth cornices; central ridge stack and stack rising from slope of east gable. School itself, originally of similar style, is much altered.
Historically important as the school house from which the headmaster was evicted thus provoking the Burston School Strike of 1914 (see HER48834, Burston Strike School).

The school was built in 1875 with enlargement in 1895. The school is constructed from red brick with 2-4 blue string courses. The school closed in 1956/7.
