Map

Brick house, mid 19th century, two bays of sash windows on two storeys.
Interior has fireplace of late medieval/early postmedieval brickwork stated to have been inserted around 1970 by an antique dealer who obtained the bricks from a farmer who in turn stated them to have come from Isleham priory, Cambridgeshire. It is improbable that they come from the priory itself but they may have come from an adjacent farm building of Dissolution date or built from reused materials. (S1)

  • <S1> *Verbal Communication: Walker (owner). 1980-1990. [unknown].
