Summary

Lava quern, built edge-on into wall dividing house gardens on Quebec Road from car park. Could be Roman, Late Saxon or medieval in date, presumably a surface find at time wall was being constructed in mid 19th century.

In wall dividing present car park (former pig market) from house gardens in Quebec Road; second panel of flint wall south of wooden fence starting. Lava quern, built edge-on into wall. Could be Roman, Late Saxon or medieval in date, presumably a surface find at time wall was being constructed in mid 19th century.
