Summary

Barn is mid 18th century of brick, with removed arched braces to tiebeams. Stables for four horses as outshuts. Sheds, cartlodge etc surround courtyard and are 19th century in date. Farmhouse has iron wall anchor marked HB 1792 and graffiti WS 1772.

Small farm sold off by Evans Lombe estate in 1917. Barn is mid 18th century of brick, with removed arched braces to tiebeams. Stables for four horses as outshuts. Sheds, cartlodge etc surround courtyard and are 19th century in date. Farmhouse has iron wall anchor marked HB 1792 and graffiti WS 1772. Former owner stated the Bakers lived here around 1870 but one must wonder about the initials on the wall iron.
