Full Description
Nonconformist chapel, but denomination at present unknown; (S1) shows the building but without annotation; not on (S2). Style however suggests Methodist. Red and white brick; façade had white gable pilasters and three arched features but these mostly destroyed by 20th century alterations to form farm building. Pediment above with circular brick ventilator and finial. Side windows formed each of two upright lights outlined in stone or rendered brickwork. Slate roof, tiebeams supported on solid brackets. Interior gutted. Date probably around 1860. May since have been converted to house. (S3) in file.
E. Rose (NLA), 5 December 2006.
