Summary

Archaeological work undertaken between 2008 and 2010 revealed little of interest. A small patch of burnt material was the only potentially archaeologically significant deposit exposed during trial trenching in 2008 and a watching brief maintained during subsequent groundworks in 2009/2010 had similarly negative results.

No archaeologically significant features or deposits were identified in the second trench, which had been positioned to coincide with cropmarks thought to represent a possible trackway (NHER 27987).
An unstratified prehistoric flint flake was the only find recovered.
