Summary

Archaeological work at this site between 2008 and 2010 revealed no features or deposits of interest. Trial trenching and a geophysical survey undertaken in 2008 identified no archaeologically significant features or deposits and a watching brief maintained during subsequent groundworks in 2009/2010 had similarly negative results.

The results of a systematic fieldwalking and metal-detecting survey undertaken in 2008 are now recorded under NHER 53757.

Evaluation of site on proposed route of Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection cable (Trenches 17-18).
The two trenches excavated at this location revealed no archaeologically significant features or deposits.
No finds recovered.
