Full Description

March-April 2008. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection (Field 24).
Finds recovered included:
1 medieval pottery sherd.
1 post-medieval copper alloy button.

2009-2010. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of topsoil stripping and other groundworks associated with installation of the Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection cable.
It was noted that the topsoil in this field contained large amounts of burnt flint and ceramic building material.
