Summary

A fieldwalking and metal-detecting survey of part of this field in 2008 recovered a ?Roman tile; medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; a post-medieval roof tile and a small number of post-medieval metal objects.

Full Description

March-April 2008. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection (Field 34).
Finds recovered included:
1 ?Roman tile.
1 medieval pottery sherd.
1 post-medieval pottery sherd, 1 roof tile and 1 copper alloy clunch bolt and rove and 1 copper alloy ?cartridge top.
