Summary

A fieldwalking and metal-detecting survey of part of this field in 2008 recovered a small number of objects including a Roman or post-medieval tile fragment; medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds and a post-medieval clay tobacco pipe fragment.

March-April 2008. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection (Field 37).
Finds recovered included:
1 ?Roman ?imbrex fragment (or possibly from a post-medieval pantile).
1 medieval pottery sherd.
1 post-medieval pottery sherd and 1 clay tobacco pipe fragment.
1 undatable copper alloy unidentified object and 1 iron unidentified object.
