Full Description
March-April 2008. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection (Field 51).
Finds recovered included:
1 prehistoric flint flake.
1 post-medieval door knob, 1 copper alloy button, 1 lead guano tag and 1 zinc alloy folded sheet.
Occasional modern metal objects and fragments of ceramic building material and glass were observed but not collected. Some pieces of post-medieval clay tobacco pipe stem were also observed.
