Summary

Metal-detecting at this location in 2005 and 2008 recovered medieval and post-medieval coins, post-medieval tokens, a jetton and coin weights and a range of other, Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Roman bracelet fragment; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval cup weight, purse bar and mount; a medieval/post-medieval ring, cast cooking vessel fragment, thimble and book fitting and post-medieval book fittings, rumbler bell and weight.

February 2005. Metal-detecting.
Brought in on 'Fabulous Finds Day' held Saturday 30 April. Found in small area at [1]:
1 Roman copper alloy bracelet fragment.
1 medieval weight and 1 mount.
1 medieval/post-medieval copper alloy ring.
1 post-medieval coin, 1 coin weight and 2 book clasps.
Various 18th- and 19th-century objects not recorded in detail.
