Summary

Small house, originally one room on two storeys. Upper floor much altered in late 20th century. Original build seems to have been around 1770-1780 using very crude bricks, almost kiln rejects. A number of internal floor joists are crude and reused. The main beams appear to be original to the building and bear apotropaic marks even at this late date. House seems to have been constructed crudely and quickly with oddments of materials yet is stated to have belonged to the owners of the Hall by 1802.
