Full Description
17th century barn of carrstone, flint and brick. Owl holes with bottle bases set into walling around. Ventilation slits. Integral porch and loose boxes. A date stone at Eaton Farm, nearby, marked 1672, is said to have belonged to this barn. All other buildings, present in 19th century, were in ruins at time of survey and the adjacent farmhouse had just been demolished.
(S1) in file. Current GUIS mapping suggests only the barn now remains.
E. Rose (NLA), 2 March 2007. Amended by A. Beckham (HES), 10 March 2017.
