Alkaline Chalybeate Spa. Marked on (S1) as Spa House with ornamental grounds and walks around sprint.
Founded in 19th century by Dr A Farringdon of Diss, this was a popular pleasure resort and bottled water was sent over Britain and France; a branch railway was proposed from Diss; but the venture failed. See (S2) in file.
