April 2008. Field visit.
A substantial post medieval and modern quarry, about 75m long by up to 19m wide by up to 4m deep.
The eastern part of the quarry is shown on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6 inch map (S1); presumably the western part not shown post-dates this map.
