Full Description
June 2006. Field visit.
A 19th century brick barn with a slate roof and later adjoining timber sheds/lean tos to the west.
The barn is shown on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6 inch map (S1), but not the tithe map (S2). These maps demonstrate it was built between 1838 and the 1880s. The adjoining sheds/lean-to are not shown on the 1st edition 6 inch map (S1).
D. Robertson (NLA), 12 June 2008.
