Summary

Sporadic metal-detecting between 2008 and 2017 recovered prehistoric flint flakes; medieval and medieval/post-medieval coins; post-medieval tokens and a number of other, Late Bronze Age, Roman and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Late Bronze Age socketed axehead fragment; Roman brooches; an Early Saxon brooch; a Late Saxon bridle cheek piece; a medieval buckle, strap end, strap plate, copper alloy seal matrix and silver annular brooch and a post-medieval silver cuff link.
