Full Description
High School, constructed in 1939 from brick with stone lintels and a slate roof.
During repairs in 1981 a lengthy inscription was found on the underside of a floorboard dated 8 September 1939, relating to the commencement of the Second World War - it is now on display in the school. A wooden column in the school entrance is said to have an internal lining of newspapers of the period.
