Map

The Chapel was constructed in 1924, which is presumably therefore the date of the cemetery as well, as it is not shown on earlier maps. Rectangular plan with a grid pattern of paths. One half provided for Anglican burials, the other for Roman Catholic and Nonconformist, but the ground is owned by the town council. At the centre is a chapel in the form of a Greek cross, each gable having a pointed door between two traceried windows. Some of the gables are glazed above. Recessed angles with canopies. Central fleche. Designed by O.W. Parry and restored in 1989.
