Map

1995. Building survey.
Large Maltings, now converted to residential use. Detailed description and plans (see (S1) in file) made before conversion, although surprisingly no date is given for the original buildings. An extension is dated to 1920-30, but it is marked on (S2) and the adjacent water storage tanks (NHER 32078) are of mid to late 19th century date. The construction is clay lump faced in brick, having iron columns supporting timber beams, and necessitating many pattress plates and tie-rods.
E. Rose (NLA), 15 May 2007.
