Map

Field Survey, January 1986.
Brick barn, Flemish bond exterior, English interior. Part now walled off. Porches remain. Attached stable with queenpost roof of reused timbers seems small for the size of the farm - about 6, whereas there were stated to be 20 horses in 1941. Date of these buildings is early 19th century. Flint granery. Various brick buildings. These are stated in (S1) to be post 1938 but this seems to be a misprint for 1838 as they are called late 19th century. The farmhouse is stated to date to around 1820 with one older wind - the recorders did not believe the latter. Extensive cattle shelters to the south replaced by 20th century buildings.
See (S1) in file.
