Map

Field Survey, March 1984.
Small cottage. Little visible of structural details in 1984 but it appeared to be a timber framed building to which a brick fire-gable had been added, or else the firebay is an original feature - it appeared to be of around 1700 suggesting the former. Attic floor appears to be an insertion.
(S1) in file.
E. Rose (NLA), 21 June 2007

Formerly known as Ivy Cottage and associated with Ivy Farm opposite. All originally part of the Custance Estate.
