Site of the Winfarthing Oak. Shown on (S1) and marked on (S2) as The Old Oak. In 1911 this tree was described as the second largest oak in Britain, and the oldest living thing in East Anglia. Blown down during a storm at a later date. NB - an earlier version of this record confused the tree with Thwaite's Oak at Tivetshall.
