Summary

The site of a tithe barn which is thought to have blown down in 1800 is marked by an overgrown mound which includes bricks dating from the 15th to 16th centuries.

Site of tithe barn, blown down on 29th February 1800.
Overgrown mound marks sites. Brick retrieved from this dated as Late Medieval (15th/16th century) by E. Rose (NLA), now RLM.

The Tithe Map of 1838 (S1) shows a single barn on this plot. This building is not present on the Ordnance Survey first edition map of 1886.
