Summary

Archaeological work at this site between 2008 and 2010 revealed no significant remains. Trial trenching in 2008 identified no archaeologically-significant features or deposits and a watching brief maintained during groundworks in 2009/2010 had similarly negative results. A medieval coin was found in the topsoil during this second phase of work.

Evaluation of site on proposed route of Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection cable (Trenches 92 and 93).
The two trenches excavated at this location revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits. No finds were recovered.

2009-2010. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of topsoil stripping and other groundworks associated with installation of the Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection cable.
No archaeologically significant features or deposits recorded. A medieval coin was found in the topsoil.
