Original temporary church built in 1883. Present church is by Bottle and Olley and was built in 1897. The south aisle was added by F. Haward in 1914. The exterior is mock-Tudor over brick, the interior is timber framed with a hammerbeam roof. The 1883 church had a font from Essendine, Hertfordshire, but the age of this font, and whether it is still there, is unknown.
