A windmill, apparently a tower mill, is marked at this location on the first edition 6 inch to the mile Ordnance Survey map (S1) and the Wells-next-the-Sea tithe map of 1843 (S2). It is not known what date the windmill was demolished. The site has since been built over. The adjacent property is called Mill House.
