Casual Observation, 15 August 2007.
Early 20th century semi-detatched house used as ahospital 1915-1919. Designed as a pair with attached house, whole having four bays, the central two projecting under gables. Main building of two storeys, attic floor has windows in gables alone. Interior stated in (S1) to have central full height staircase and stained glass. Tudor style entrance doors in end bays. Plaque over door of no. 11 commemorates the hospital, run by Dr. W.A. Aldred, which treated 810 wounded soldiers.
