Summary

Human leg uncovered in 2007 beneath a cottage dated to 1853. Apparently part of an insitu burial in a shallow grave outside of the graveyard, suggesting a suicide burial.

Field Survey, 28 August 2007.
Human leg found beneath cottage of 1853 and late extensions. Apparently part of an insitu burial in a shallow grave aligned north-south, outside the churchyard suggesting it was a suicide burial. No dating evidence other than 'terminus ante quem'.
