Listing Description Excerpt:
"Shop. Late 18th century. Painted brick. Pantile roof. Three storeys. Two bays. 20th-century shopfront with door at right and end pilasters. Sash windows with segmental arches at first floor. Sash windows with glazing bars and segmental arches at second floor. Paired bracket cornice."

See file for copies of architectural plans drawn up in 1977 as part of proposals to convert the building to a shop and two separate flats. These plans were found, along with related correspondence, in the A. Carter archive. It should be noted that this building is incorrected referred to as No 9 St Augustine's Street.
