Summary

Metal-detecting between 2008 and 2016 recovered prehistoric worked flint including a Neolithic scraper; medieval pottery sherds; Middle/Late Iron Age, Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons and tokens and Bronze Age and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Bronze Age socketed spearhead fragment; medieval and medieval/post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval thimble, brooch, harness pendant, copper alloy binding strip and seal matrices and a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy ring, cloth seal, crotal bell and Jew's harp.
