The cropmarks of a series of possible multiphase overlapping enclosures, boundaries, possible field boundaries and possible trackways (see above) are seen as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The feature most likely date to the Iron Age to Roman period; however, it’s possible some of the features may be later, possibly medieval to post medieval, in date. A dense area of geological cropmarks is seen across the area and its possible that some of the features may be natural in origin.
