Summary

An undated linear ditch feature was visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. It does not correspond with the alignment of field boundaries on historic maps of the area, nor does it share alignments with nearby features (NHER 51923 and 51924). Its fragmentary nature made it difficult to characterise.

Map

November 2008. Norfolk NMP.
An undated linear ditch feature was visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1) running for approximately 125m east-west from TG 2849 1275 to TG 2862 1276.
It is possible that this feature is related to the two sites approximately 60m to the west (NHER 51923 and 51924), although it does not appear to share an alignment with any of the features they contain, nor does it correspond with the alignment of field boundaries on historic maps of the area.

This feature was only visible on one set of aerial photographs, and has therefore been recorded with a note of caution.
E. Bales (NMP), 14 November 2008.
