June-July 2008. Possible boundary stone with partially decorative border, set into the base of a steep bank right beside the road. 245mm wide, minimum 130mm deep and minimum 360mm tall. No inscription visible. This appears to be the edge of the estate attached to nearby Kirby House (NHER 34196). The 1st edition Ordnance Survey map shows a benchmark at this location.
