Summary

Metal-detecting in 2009 recovered a Middle Saxon ansate brooch and various multi-period objects including Romano-British pottery, a Roman coin, medieval jetton and post-medieval coin and coin weight. Metal-detecting in 2010 recovered a prehistoric flint scraper; Romano-British, Middle Saxon and medieval sherds; 2 Roman, 1 medieval and 3 post-medieval coins; medieval and post-medieval metal objects. Metal-detecting between 2011 and 2019 recovered Roman and medieval coins, a probably Roman ferrule, medieval buckles, a strap-end, and an ampulla; medieval/post-medieval buckles and thimbles, post-medieval buckles and cloth seal.
