Summary

Metal detecting between 2008 and 2021 recovered a Roman pottery sherd; medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval and post-medieval jettons; a post-medieval token and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include Early Saxon brooch fragments; a probable Late Saxon Anglo-Scandinavian copper alloy ingot; a Late Saxon to post-medieval lead weight; medieval lead ampullas; a medieval/post-medieval dagger chape and post-medieval coin weights, a crotal bell, spur fragment, mount, probable furniture drop handle, copper alloy seal matrix, lead weights and lead cloth seal.
