Full Description
2008. Test-pitting.
The pottery excavated from test pit 10 yielded four types of medieval pot, including Early Medieval Sandy Ware, Hedingham Ware, Grimston Ware and Late Medieval Ware found in contexts four to seven only.
The site is located centrally in the village and the pottery evidence suggests that it was occupied throughout the medieval period.
See (S1) for further information.
