A post medieval brickworks is shown at this location on historic maps (S1-S2). A large group of brick kilns and clay pits are visible on the 1840 Rockland St Mary tithe map (S1) and the 1880s first edition six inch to the mile Ordnance Survey map (S2). Part of the site has been built on none of the structures at the site appear to survive.
