Summary

An evaluation carried out by NAU Archaeology in 2009 at the Denton Water Treatment works revealed only a single prehistoric flint flake, and undated animal bone.

Evaluation of site of proposed new contact tank at Denton Lodge Water Reservoir.
No archaeological features were encountered. A single prehistoric flint flake and a cattle rib with sawn off ends were recovered from subsoil.
