Summary

Metal detecting in 2009 and 2012 recovered Late Prehistoric flint flakes; medieval pottery sherds; medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton and Late Bronze Age, Roman, Early Saxon, Late Saxon, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Bronze Age socketed axe; a Roman military harness mount; an Early Saxon buckle and wrist clasp; a Late Saxon hasp; medieval dress accessories, weights, a rivet and spoon; medieval/post-medieval vessel fragments and a thimble and post-medieval dress accessories and a powder measure.

Late Prehistoric flint flakes, Late Bronze Age socketed axe (S2), early Saxon wrist clasp (S1), Late Saxon hasp, medieval rivet, buttons, weights, buckle plate, strap end, pottery and coin, medieval/post-medieval vessel, post-medieval button, buckle, sword belt, powder measure and jettons.
