Full Description
April 2009. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks associated with construction of French drains outside numbers 35a and 36 The Close.
Five sherds of post-medieval pottery and a copper alloy farthing were recovered from the westernmost trench (No 35a). No archaeologically significant features or deposits were observed.
