Summary

Metal-detecting between 2009 and 2018 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; as well as Early Saxon, Middle Saxon, and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds consist of an Early Saxon brooch fragment; a Middle Saxon brooch; Late Saxon/medieval lead spindle whorls; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval thimble, seal matrix, a harness pendant, and book fitting; and medieval/post-medieval purse fittings, copper alloy vessel fragments, a weight, coin weight, cauldron fragment, and a palimpsest monumental brass fragment; and a post-medieval coin weight, copper alloy unidentified object, lead cloth seal and lead trade weight.
