Map

June 2009. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of proposed development site.
This work revealed part of an outhouse of a mid 19th century terraced house along with evidence of demolition of these buildings. There was also evidence that the south-eastern part of the site had been lowered relatively recently which may have removed any archaeological remains in this part of the site. Finds recovered dated from the 17th century onwards, suggesting that this area was not occupied until this period.
See report (S1) for further information.
The associated archive has been deposited with the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2016.327).
