April 2009. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated possible linear features were visible on aerial photographs (S1), centred on TG 2845 0671, although these are rather faint and ephemeral and may be agricultural, or possibly geological, in nature. They are visible as four roughly parallel linear features, running roughly east-west, perpendicular to the contour lines, which may suggest that they are less likely to represent geological banding, but as they are only visible on one set of photographs, it is rather difficult to be certain. Part of a Neolithic polished grey flint axehead (NHER 15032) was found nearby, but as it was dredged from the river, it is difficult to be sure of its exact origin.
