Summary

A section of linear earthwork bank is visible on aerial photographs to the west of Park Farm Cottages, Bixley. This probably represents part of the old course of the Norwich to Bungay road, which was removed in 1800 (NHER 9661).

A section of linear earthwork bank is visible on aerial photographs (S1), stretching from TG 2580 0538 to TG 2582 0529.
It is located directly on the projected path of the old course of the Norwich to Bungay road, which was removed in 1800 (NHER 9661). The bank measures approximately 8m in width.
