Map

May 2009. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a group of undated and fragmentary field boundaries and/or two possible trackways are visible on aerial photographs to the south of Surlingham Lane, Bramerton (S1-S3). The site is centred on TG 3004 0513. The linear ditches are oriented north northeast-south southwest, and it is possible that the two pairs of parallel ditches, centred at TG 3012 0522 and TG 2993 0505, may represent fragments of two possible trackways. In the same way as the fragmentary cropmarks visible 400m to the northeast (NHER 49589), it is possible that these features may relate to more than one phase
E. Bales (NMP), 7 May 2009.
