Map

May 2009. Norfolk NMP.
Undated linear features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1), centred at TG 2807 0534.
It is possible that these features represent more than one phase of activity, although it is difficult to be certain due to their fragmentary nature.
The earliest of these features appear to be on a north northeast-south southwest orientation, and are unrelated to any of the boundaries depicted on historic maps of the area. A fragmentary possible trackway is visible from TG 2807 0526 to TG 2803 0535, leading to a possible small (8m by 18m) D-shaped enclosure.
A pair of linear features are visible on a north east-south west orientation, the most substantial of which measures 3.5m in width and has a north west-south east off shoot to the east side. These features may be related to features depicted on the Tithe map of 1900, as they appear to be on a similar orientation to at least one of the boundaries, which is also visible as a linear cropmark between TG 2798 0537 and TG 2807 0535, but was not mapped.
E. Bales (NMP), 28 May 2009.
