February-March 2006. Watching Brief and Metal-detecting Survey.
Monitoring and metal-detecting undertaken during topsoil stripping and trenching for Binham to Houghton St Giles water pipeline (Collection Units 83 and 89-100).
Finds comprised prehistoric flint flakes, a silver Roman coin, a medieval buckle, medieval pottery sherds, a jetton, a post-medieval buckle and a post-medieval harness mount.
